Baltic Pike Tours are situated on Replot island, in the Kvarken Archipelago, which is Finland’s 1st & only World Natural Heritage site. Found on the west coast of Finland, it is one of few places in the world where the land mass is rising between 8-8.5 mm per annum. It is estimated that there are over 2200 islands & skerries around Replot, with numbers increasing every 10 years, this constant change in the moraine formation has turned the area into probably the best pike fishing waters in the world. This can be attributed to two reasons. The first being the differences in fluctuations between depth and drop of areas around these islands, which form channels for their prey (Herring & Perch) to swim between. Secondly there are far more reed beds found scattered along all the islands shorelines than anywhere else in the Baltic, giving them a far larger area for these pike to spawn in.

24 endemic plant families are found on the shores of the Baltic sea, of which 16 are only found in the Kvarken Archipelago. Replots fauna is equally impressive with species such as Skuas, Black Guillemots, Eider ducks, Razerbills, White tailed eagle & the endangered Scaup can all be seen here.

Baltic Pike tours is the only fishing tours operator on Replot that runs on a "Strict catch/photo/release" policy and has the capacity to deal with overseas clients. Although we specialize in targeting Pike & Perch on the fly we are equally geared up for the lure fisherman as well.

Our Pike on the fly tours start from the 1st of May and run until the the 15th September. Our Pike lure fishing tours start from the 1st of May and run till the end of October.

The most productive times generally for targeting pike on lakes with fly or by lure in Europe, The States & Canada would fall directly after spawning in May & June, slowly dropping off as pike move into deeper waters through the summer months. Picking up again as pike move back into shallower water to feed on shoaling fry as the water cools down through the autumn months of August & September. What makes the Baltic & especially around here in Replot so special, is that due to its high latitude and large water mass, water temperatures stay constant from the beginning of May to the end of September which allows for fantastic pike fishing throughout the season.

Lastly, If you are interested in targeting other species we can also offer Sea trout and Greyling fly-fishing tours as well.

We take great pride as a company, to not only
handle all caught fish as
safely & correctly as
possible, but we also work on a strict
“catch & release” policy as well.
